ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility statement
Coastside IT Services wants everyone to be able to use our website, customer portal, and business tools, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we do
- Pages use semantic headings, landmarks, and a “Skip to content” link, and every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Form fields have labels, and errors are explained in text next to the field.
- Text meets WCAG color contrast minimums, and nothing relies on color alone to convey meaning.
- Pages reflow on small screens and when zoomed to 400% without scrolling sideways.
- We respect your system’s reduced-motion and high-contrast settings.
- Buttons and links are at least 24 by 24 pixels or have enough space around them.
- We check pages with automated accessibility tests when we make changes, and try key tasks using only a keyboard.
We don’t use accessibility “overlay” widgets. We build accessibility into the site itself.
Known limitations
- Online payment pages are provided by Stripe, and Google sign-in pages by Google. These follow their providers’ own accessibility programs.
- The spam check on our forms needs a moment to finish in the background. If it doesn’t work for you, email or call us instead.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on our site is hard to use, or you need information in another format, please let us know. We’ll respond within 2 business days and work with you to provide what you need.
